Swap photos and edit their alt text.

Step-by-step guide · 8 steps

These instructions apply to sites with this Site Manager module enabled.

What to do

1. During setup, choose your JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF photos. You can add up to 20 photos, each no larger than 10 MB.
2. Wait for every upload to finish, then choose Show my website. Your photos are added before the website opens. If you have no photos ready, explicitly choose stock photos.
3. Use Photos & hours at the top of the builder to return to your photo choice. After your site is live, sign in to manage individual photos:
4. Open Photos.
5. Find the photo you want to change and press "Choose a different photo".
6. Pick a photo already on your site, or press "Upload a new photo" to add a new one.
7. Describe what is in the photo under "What is in this photo?" — this is read aloud to visitors who cannot see it, so keep the description accurate.
8. Press Save changes.
