The website offer

The standard website is built first and shown working on a real domain before any money changes hands. Price, payment options, what is included, and what happens after the first year are stated on the pricing page and in the written agreement you sign. Where those two disagree, the signed agreement wins.

Commerce, booking, and custom systems are quoted separately and in writing before work starts.

Text message alert program

Program name: Barnraised lead alerts, operated by Barnraised (Steve Harris), the registered brand. Shown as Obscura Sites in the account settings.

What it does: sends the owner of a Barnraised-hosted website one text message each time a visitor submits the contact form on that website. The text carries the visitor's name, how to reach them, and the first line of their message.

Who receives it: only the business owner, at the mobile number they enter themselves. Visitors who fill in a contact form are never texted.

How to opt in: sign in to your account, turn on the Text alerts switch for your site, and enter your mobile number. Turning the switch on is your consent to receive these texts at that number.

Message frequency: varies with how many messages your website receives. Typically a few per week; one text per form submission.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

To stop: reply STOP to any alert, or turn the switch off in your account settings. You will get one confirmation text and nothing further. Reply START to resume.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to these texts is given only by the switch described above; it is never bundled into any other agreement, and it is not a condition of buying a website. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and consumer data or opt-in information is never bought from or sold to third parties. You may browse barnraised.design and the work shown on it. The text, photographs, and design belong to Barnraised or the clients named, and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

Contact forms are for genuine enquiries. Automated or bulk submissions are filtered and discarded.
