The example assumes one organized spreadsheet and an existing inventory platform. Physical stock counts, extensive data cleanup, barcode equipment, multiple locations, and connections to other systems are estimated separately.
Point-of-sale setup
Get one checkout station ready for daily use: compatible equipment, up to 50 supplied products or menu items, test transactions, and a staff walkthrough.
$375 setup estimate. 5 hours at $75/hour.
The example assumes one location with working internet and a supported POS platform. Hardware, software subscriptions, payment processing, extra stations, new cabling, and complex menus are separate. Product prices and tax settings come from you.
Custom software & integrations
Connect business tools or simplify a repetitive task. Start with a focused discovery session to map the workflow, check compatibility, and estimate the build.
$150 discovery session. 2 hours · implementation quoted separately.
Discovery produces a workflow outline, compatibility findings, and a proposed implementation scope. It does not include a completed application or integration. Build work is estimated after discovery.
Computer diagnosis and support
Help with slow computers, software, new equipment, and small-business networks. Start with diagnosis, then agree on the repair or setup.
$75 for an initial diagnosis of up to one hour. Repairs, replacement parts, travel, and ongoing support are quoted separately.
Agree on the scope first
Inventory and POS figures are estimates based on $75/hour for the example scopes, not fixed packages. Hardware, software subscriptions, travel, payment processing, and ongoing support are separate. Any website work has its own agreed scope.

How a repair goes
- Describe the problem by phone.
- I diagnose it and explain the repair options and cost.
- Work happens at your location or on my bench, depending on the job.
- We go over the result and any remaining problems. Some damaged hardware and lost data cannot be recovered.

Website hosting and backups
I also offer cloud website backup and managed on-site hosting. Website backup covers the site's files and database; computer and shared-drive backups need a separate quote.
