Obscura Studio

Obscura Studio is my own software product for editing photos and delivering client galleries in a browser.

The Obscura Studio homepage with a live photo editor demo: a couple in a wheat field shown with grading sliders for exposure, brightness, contrast, warmth, and saturation, and preset buttons for Golden Hour, Color Pop, Film Matte, and B&W.

Photographers can upload a session, edit it, and deliver a gallery from the same service. The homepage has an editor you can try without an account.

What the site does

The homepage puts a working editor in front of you before you've logged in: real exposure, brightness, contrast, warmth, and saturation sliders on a real photo, plus one-tap presets like Golden Hour, Color Pop, Film Matte, and black and white. It is not a recording. Moving the sliders actually changes the image, right there on the marketing page.

The full studio behind that demo handles tone curves, eight-band HSL, cropping, selective color, face-aware culling, and RAW files, and delivers the finished gallery from the same screen. No account and no download are needed to try it. A visitor can log in or create a studio from the top of the page once they're ready to move past the demo and into their own account.

A software project

Accounts, image processing, and storage make this a custom software build with its own estimate.

Its publishing service, Obscura Sites, also hosts To The Max RV and the Ridgeline Aerial demo.
